Job Description:
We are a fast-growing estate planning, probate, and fiduciary
litigation law firm looking for an experienced salesperson (also
called the Client Engagement Specialist) to ensure that the firm is
always putting its best foot forward for potential new clients.
Benefits include paid holidays, paid time off, health insurance
coverage, dental and vision insurance, and the option to
participate in our retirement savings plan with employer match. We
pay 100% of the premiums for medical, dental, and vision benefits.
If you are not a proven sales professional, and if you cannot
discuss big price points and complex problems with maturity and
sensitivity, please do not apply. If you don’t have the motivation
to follow up with prospects, please do not continue. We need a
bright, creative, empathetic, and compassionate person who can
convey the value of our services to potential clients and enhance
client experience. We are here to guide clients through the estate
planning and probate processes, achieve positive results, and help
them and their families build a better tomorrow. Compensation:
$150,000 on-target earnings based on performance Responsibilities:
This position will: Conduct initial client consultations to sell
legal services for estate planning and probate Follow up with
potential new clients who have not yet retained us Manage the
end-to-end sales process from consultation to hand-off to the legal
team, as well as data tracking Cover Letter Instructions: To be
considered for this position, you must include a cover letter with
your application. The cover letter should include this information:
What interests you about this position? What makes working at an
estate planning and probate law firm particularly intriguing? What
do you bring to the table (i.e., qualities that would be of value
to the firm)? If you apply and provide a cover letter, we will ask
you to complete a brief written interview before having any
interviews. We do this to ensure that you can read, write, and
think critically. If you do not wish to complete the written
interview, please do not apply. Qualifications: Our ideal candidate
will have: A demonstrated record of success selling high-end
professional services or products Inside sales experience The
ability to build and nurture relationships with potential new
clients The ability to interact with different types of
personalities Compassion and empathy for potential clients, and put
them at ease Knowledge on how to close a sale by creating urgency
and promoting value Exceptional communication skills in person,
over the phone, and in writing The flexibility to not get
discouraged when things don’t go as planned Willingness and ability
to quickly learn about new topics (like Wills, Trusts, and Probate)
Real-life experience and a few “battle scars” providing empathy and
understanding are assets. Experience overcoming a major obstacle in
life and making an important change in your life, so you know at
your core that others can do it too, is a plus. The salesperson
doesn’t give legal advice, so legal experience is not required.
Prior sales and customer service experience is required because we
need someone who is caring and empathetic, especially toward people
suffering from dementia, other progressive disease and who are
faced with end-of-life decision-making. We are looking for a team
player with the creativity and organization to help us expand our
business. The person we hire must bring a high level of energy,
positivity, and a can-do attitude to work every day. If you are the
“high-pressure” type who thinks sales is a macho game, please do
not continue. We believe sales is a service we do for our prospects
to help educate them, help them think through their options, and
make courageous decisions about their future. We really believe
that even if we decide not to accept an engagement from a prospect,
every prospective new client should leave our office better off in
some way than when they came in. Our motto is, "everyone gets
helped." If you come from the school of thought that making a sale
is all about what you can “get” from a prospect or what you can
“talk them into,” please do not apply. We believe in consultative
selling where we help our prospective new clients make sense of
their situation, weigh their options, and make important and often
life-changing decisions. We are into using the sale as the
beginning of a long-term relationship with our prospective new
clients. If you are interested in a career (we really think of it
as more of a “calling”) that offers competitive income and
benefits, loads of training and professional development to stay
sharp, total transparency (another way of saying there’s nowhere to
“hide”), and fuel for your soul because we’re really and truly
helping people then please apply. About Company We value open and
respectful feedback as well as work-life balance. We care about our
teammates’ personal, professional, and financial goals and help
them achieve success. Integrity serves as our foundation, ensuring
that we uphold the highest ethical standards in all our endeavors.
Teamwork underscores our belief in the power of collaboration,
recognizing that collective effort leads to superior outcomes for
clients. Impact & influence drive our commitment to effect positive
change within the probate system, striving to innovate and advocate
for reforms that enhance efficiency, fairness, and accessibility.
Initiative fuels our proactive approach to problem-solving,
empowering us to anticipate and address clients’ needs with
creativity and resourcefulness. Customer focus underscores our
dedication to providing exceptional service and personalized
solutions that meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
