Job Description Position Summary This position is responsible
for leading a team dedicated to a critical National Convenience
Retailer. The Director is accountable establishing and delivering
objectives aligned with the Beer team’s strategic direction.
Responsibilities Develop account specific beer category leadership
strategy for assigned retailer(s) aligned with both the National
Account Sales and Insights Teams. Understand, Identify and
communicate unique account dynamics to key stakeholders and
recommend needed adjustments (tools, resources, approach, etc).
Strengthen existing retailer relationships through continuous
engagement with category management teams at the account providing
strategic thinking and expertise in Beer category leadership.
Participate and lead Category opportunities and solutions for
assigned retailers(s) “top to top” and joint business planning
meetings. Develop and provide input to long-term strategy and
presentations. Work across Category Management leadership team to
identify upcoming project work across and allocate resources
appropriately to efficiently complete the work in a timely manner.
Ensure cross functional collaboration and alignment with other
departments including Business Unit sales teams, Innovation,
Commercial Insights, National Sales, and Sales Strategy.
Responsible for management of a team of Category Managers dedicated
to assigned account(s). Establish measurable, actionable department
goals aligned with National Account strategies and initiatives.
Ensure department strategies are synchronized with other department
leads and that clear alignment exists to support stated strategies.
Define clear priorities, assist team in prioritizing initiatives
and category management opportunities. Grow a world class Category
Leadership Services team through employee development, talent
review & succession planning. Ensure members of the team have
appropriate technical skills, training, data, tools, and process to
delivery on goals. Responsible for measuring, score carding and
communication of team performance to leadership and back to
employees – ensuring outputs are clearly mapped to goals and
purposes. Differentiating Responsibilities Director level position
is responsible for a high volume, strategic national customer(s).
Role is that of a player/coach. Ability to identify, recruit and
develop top talent for the team. Role Qualifications 3 years of
sales, merchandising, or retail store management experience. 5
years of category management, consumer or shopper insights, or
research experience which included the management of the entire
category (not sub-categories or segments), across a range of large
or strategically important customers such as national retail
chains. Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills to lead and
mentor a team. Ability to build strong relationships, initiate
action and adjust to change are key attributes of this role Strong
communication skills and ability to influence at all levels of the
organization. Proficient in the use of all category management
software, concepts, analytical techniques; have a thorough
understanding of syndicated data. IRI Unify, Power Suite, Excel and
Power Point. Proficiency in JDA is required. Bachelor’s degree is
required Ability to travel by plane approximately 40% Physical
Requirements/Work Environment Must be able to stand, walk, sit; use
hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb
or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. Must have
close vision, distant vision, ability to adjust focus, peripheral
and color vision. Must be able to work in an office environment
primarily but periodically required to work in a warehouse
environment with variable temperatures and lighting Should be able

for this role is: $121,600.00 - $194,200.00 This is the lowest to
highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role
at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of
labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple
locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets,
including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest
geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than
the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An
employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on
several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing
minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications,
certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location,
performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based
metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or
