Position Summary: Responsible for the control and accuracy of all inventory as it relates to all system transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and conduct Cycle Counts
  • Analyze and reconcile inventory discrepancies and determines root causes
  • Make inventory adjustments upon approval by management, and/or work with areas to correct production transactions
  • Record and track inventory accuracy for weekly KPIs
  • Play a major role in assisting the facilitation of the annual physical inventory
  • Provide support for production confirmation/backflush processes as needed
  • Research inventory discrepancies as needed
  • Assist areas improve the recording of inventory transactions, as appropriate
  • Proactively request training or tools required to perform job better
  • Follow all company guidelines for safety in the workplace
  • Have a compliance mindset with understanding of corporate policy
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

      Education and Experience
      • Associates Degree in Supply Chain or Accounting, or equivalent 3-5-years' work experience
        • Chemical Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
        • Inventory Control and Cycle Counting: 2 years (Required)
          Knowledge and Skill Requirements
          • SAP: 1 year (Preferred)
          • Strong Analytical Skills
          • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills

              Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.
