This is a first shift position with potential for overtime and weekend hours as needed. The scheduled hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Flexibility is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of functions following prescribed procedures in product assembly and testing.
  
• Assemble components as required on time and according to quality specifications.
  
• Maintain the cleanliness of workstation and assist with entire department housekeeping.
  
• High personal standards with regards to productivity, quality, and safety.
  
  
  Required Qualifications:
  
  • High School Diploma or GED
    
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing assembly with Carrier
    
  • Ability to assemble components using various hand and power tools according to specifications
    
  • Ability to read blueprints, standard work instructions, bills of material, and precision measuring instruments
    
  • Ability to operate various shop tools including power and manually operated wrenches
    
  • Must be able to work 1st shift hours along with daily over-time and weekends
    
    
    Preferred Qualifications:
    
    • Solid mechanical background
      
    • Experience working with large HVAC compressors
      
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      
    • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
      
    • Strong organizational skills
      
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
