Invo Healthcare is seeking a -talented, full-time -Paraprofessional -to join our school-based services team in -Gastonia, NC. -Invo is the nation's leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in schools! -
Gaston County Schools prides themselves in a healthy work environment. Contracted employees will feel included and expected and/or encouraged to participate in all trainings, meetings, and events when necessary. Contracted employees may also work on Teacher Work Days! -To qualify, applicants must: -

• Hold a high school diploma -
• Associates degree or higher; A focus in Social Work, Human Services, Special Education or Education is preferred -
• Six months professional experience working with school-age children with disabilities or medical needs -
• Obtain Adult and Child CPR and First Aid certification upon hire - -What to expect from this role? -
  • Provide 1:1 or small-group learning assistance for school-age children with disabilities in the classroom -
  • Assist in implementing behavior & safety management plans for individual students - -
  • Effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents -
