Adecco is assisting a local client in Gastonia, NC recruiting for a Customer Service Rep position. This position is a temporary opportunity!If you meet the qualifications listed below - Apply Now!YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: * Receive and respond to internal and external customer requests, inquiries and concerns* Provide assistance and input to sales departments, manufacturing and distribution locations* Handle customer inquiries (orders, pricing, inventory, order status, etc.) and issues in a professional and effective manner* Process customer orders and order expedites* Troubleshoot problems, internal and external and maintain departmental records* Communicate customer complaints to quality managers at respective plants* Process rebates for Reporting program* Communicate with all division personnel as needed* Excellent verbal and written communications* Prepare, generate and distribute reports as needed* First point of contact for all incoming department callsREQUIREMENTS: * Associate Degree minimum* Customer Service or related experience a plus* Keyboard skill and accuracy (8,000 KPH and 60 WPM)* Knowledge of SAP, Baan, AS400, and Quality Systems helpful (or ability to learn quickly)* Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet skills necessary.* Possess good problem solving, analytical and time management skills* Working knowledge of office procedures and equipment (copiers, printers, digital senders, and fax)* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Ability to define and set goals and to work without direct supervision* Some overnight travel may be required - customer visits and training* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines* Ability to work productively with all levels of company personnel* Possess the desire and ability to progress into a Customer Service Leadership RoleWhat's in this for you?* Pay rates starting at $18 per hour* Weekly Pay - you receive a paycheck every week* Comprehensive benefits after 1 week - medical, dental, vision, options available* Generous Bonus Incentives offered for referrals!
