Role Overview: As a Warehouse and Delivery Driver position at Freedom Interiors Group, you will play a key role in supporting our operations team efforts. Your primary responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: Know, see, and get the correct material required from the order and deliver to jobsites with truck, flat bed truck, truck and trailer(including gooseneck trailer). no CDL required Receive and review orders and requirements for the day based on 4:30pm calls on previous day and manager. Responsible for time and route tracking for each day and each order. Responsible for the accuracy of orders and clear communication of delivery expectations. (When, where, how) Correctly strap, harness, load, stock, stack, and deliver material to projects in a safe and efficient manner. Responsible for safety requirements and practicing safe working and driving habits. Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse, trucks, and equipment. Responsible for logging and tacking tools and equipment on software. Responsible for receiving orders/directions from manager and field foreman and delivering material and/or equipment using the company provided truck and/or trailer. Load, unload, move, store material and equipment as needed with training. Identify when equipment is unsafe, broken and get with manager on how to get fixed quickly. Continually monitor and maintain the condition of the truck and trailer. Properly use fuel card and submit receipts. Clean, organize and managed additional supplies and tools coming in and out of the warehouse to jobsites via software. Requirements: NON-CDL Driver must have maintained a License for at least 5 years Physically move/transfer construction materials/equipment Drug free (ability to pass random) Clear background check Must be able to drive a 1-ton truck and pull trailer including gooseneck Must be at least 21 years old Must have good MVR (bring a copy when you come to apply) Stable work history Willing to be hands on with tool and equipment repairs or work on project site as needed. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the company. Previous experience in commercial construction is preferred.
