OTR Class A Owner Operator at Clean Harbors summary: The OTR Class A Owner Operator is responsible for operating tractor-trailer units to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste across multiple states while adhering to safety protocols and DOT regulations. This role requires a Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements, along with experience in long-haul trucking and load securing. Compensation includes mileage pay, hourly demurrage, and non-asset hourly rates, with bi-weekly home time and a focus on health and safety. Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in Reidsville, NC ! This route runs from Reidsville, NC to KY/OH/IL/MIL/GA/TN and FL and averages 2800 miles per week. About the role: Average $200-250K per year Bi-Weekly home time Compensation package includes all on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay Why work for Clean Harbors? Positive and safe work environments Compensation package includes all on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times Operates tractor trailer units Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports QUALIFICATIONS Class A CDL HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements 12 months of Class A driving experience Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software For additional information about driver career opportunities, please call us at 72-DRIVE (833-723-7483).
