Job Description:
MV Transportation, Inc. is looking for a dedicated Operations
Manager to oversee various transportation services in the United
States and Canada. This role is pivotal in ensuring our operations
are executed with utmost efficiency and compliance, maintaining our
reputation for reliable and impactful transportation solutions. The
Operations Manager will play a key role in streamlining our
operations including paratransit, fixed routes, and shuttle
services, ensuring all operational facets run smoothly and conform
to regional transportation regulations. Oversee daily operations
across multiple transportation modes including paratransit and
shuttle services. Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators,
leading them towards achieving operational excellence. Ensure
compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well
as internal policies. Develop and implement strategies for
operational efficiency and increased productivity. Monitor
performance metrics and implement solutions to enhance service
quality and control costs. Liaise with the maintenance department
to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition and available as
scheduled. Handle emergency management procedures and ensure staff
readiness for crisis situations. Provide training and development
programs for operations staff to ensure a high level of competency.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills Excellent
organizational and time management skills In-depth knowledge of
transportation and logistics management Proficient in using
transportation management software and tools Strong communication
and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse teams and
clients Ability to resolve conflicts and handle high-pressure
situations Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
Certification in Transportation and Logistics (CTL)
