Job Description:
Critical Care Nurse - CVICU - Asheville, NC Location Asheville,
NC Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Job Description We are seeking
experienced Critical Care Nurses to provide exceptional care in a
high-acuity environment. The position is specifically for nurses
capable of Rapid Response ECMO, LVAD, and Cath lab recovery.
Experience in CVICU or the E4 (4-heart step-down/progressive care)
is preferred. Responsibilities Provide nursing care to critical
patients in CVICU. Monitor and manage patients with advanced
equipment and technologies. Assist in procedures performed on the
unit such as central line insertion, cardioversion, and
pericardiocentesis. Required Experience / Certifications /
Licensure ICU experience required. Titration of vesicant
medications. Familiarity with pressors, sedation, paralytics, and
vents. Telemetry interpretation and understanding of hemodynamics.
Advanced skills with IABP, Impella, and CRRT are appreciated.
