Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Nurse Supervisor to join our dynamic team, focusing on providing superior integrated healthcare services. This vital role supports our mission of delivering high-quality patient care through leadership and management of nursing staff within our inpatient rehabilitation, home health, and hospice care settings. The Nurse Supervisor will ensure nursing staff deliver excellent patient care, comply with healthcare standards, manage resources efficiently, and achieve patient care objectives. Oversee daily operations of nursing staff across multiple settings, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Evaluate and enhance patient care quality and safety. Manage staffing requirements, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for comprehensive patient management. Implement and monitor departmental policies and procedures. Facilitate continuous professional development of nursing staff. Address and resolve any issues concerning staff or patient care efficiently. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Advanced knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards Proficient in the use of medical software and patient management systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid RN license Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
