qualifications will not be considered. Provide advanced nursing
care in a dynamic Progressive Care Unit (PCU) environment,
supporting patients with diverse and complex medical needs. This
contract role is based in Kings Mountain, NC, offering the
opportunity to work with a close-knit team focused on
patient-centered care. Location Overview:Kings Mountain is a

Responsibilities: Deliver essential nursing functions including
monitoring and management of patients with stroke, pneumonia,
cellulitis, failure to thrive, altered mental status, chest pain,
atrial fibrillation, COPD, and more. Manage cardiac rhythms,
tracheostomies, chest tubes, wound care, blood products, and
central lines proficiently. Collaborate closely with CNAs,
receptionists, charge nurses, phlebotomists, IV/vascular access
teams, respiratory therapists, and hospitalists. Utilize EPIC EMR
and equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication
dispensing, Phillips telemetry, and unit-specific fall prevention
and positioning tools. Float within the regional network as
required, including to facilities in the Cleveland, Lincoln, and
Central Division areas. Participate in weekend rotations every
other week, with no on-call duties and 75% holiday shift coverage.
Desired Experience and Qualifications: Current RN licensure with
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. Minimum of
18 months progressive care nursing experience preferred; first-time
travelers will be considered. Strong skills in teamwork,
communication, and critical care nursing functions. Experience with
telemetry, cardiac drip management, and interpreting cardiac
rhythms. Schedule & Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, either 7 AM to 7
PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. Weekend rotation every other weekend.
Orientation includes a 2-day department-specific onboarding.
Travelers receive paid time during mid-shift float travel between
