Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Nurse Extern Neurology PRN
to join our neurology unit. This position offers the opportunity to
gain hands-on experience in neurology care under the supervision of
experienced nurses and physicians. The Nurse Extern will assist in
delivering compassionate and quality care focused on the needs of
neurology patients. This role is ideal for nursing students who
wish to advance their knowledge and skills in a specialized medical
environment. Assist registered nurses and physicians in the
delivery of patient care for neurology patients. Help in the
preparation of medical equipment and aid in performing neurological
tests and procedures. Support the healthcare team in administering
treatment and tracking patient progress. Follow all healthcare
regulations and safety standards in patient care. Participate in
educational sessions to enhance knowledge and expertise in
neurology care. Strong clinical skills including basic patient care
Ability to work effectively in a team Excellent communication
skills Keen observation skills for assessing patient conditions
Basic knowledge of neurology preferred Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k CPR certification
required. ACLS certification is a plus.
