be considered. A contract opportunity is available for an
experienced Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room (RN
- OR) located in Gastonia, NC. This role offers a 12-hour day shift
schedule, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with call and holiday rotation
responsibilities. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years
operating room experience, preferably in a specialty area, and be
comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment performing
a wide variety of cases. Key Responsibilities: Circulate and assist
in surgical procedures across diverse specialties including
Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Breast, Urology, Robotics,
Gynecology, Plastics, and more. Collaborate with OR Assistants,
charge nurses, anesthesia staff, and other team members to ensure
smooth room turnovers and patient safety. Utilize clinical judgment
and technical skills to provide optimal perioperative nursing care.
Manage responsibilities during 3-4 weeknight calls and 1-2 weekend
shifts per 6-week schedule, with holiday coverage on a call
rotation. Participate in orientation lasting five 8-hour shifts
tailored to the assigned OR specialty area. Use Epic EMR system,
Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Phillips
monitors efficiently. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid
RN license with current BLS certification. Minimum two years of
operating room experience. Proficiency with EPIC and familiarity
with circulating in various surgical specialties. Ability to adapt
to call and weekend rotations. First-time travelers are welcome and

The hospital has 13 OR rooms performing an average of 45 cases per
