Position Detail Harris Regional Hospital, a Duke Lifepoint Hospital in Sylva, North Carolina (45min outside Asheville) is growing with the addition of a full-time BC/BE Pediatrician to strengthen our established team in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Western NC. Harris Pediatric Care is an approved NHSC site. Primarily outpatient clinic Typical schedule: 2 hours of inpatient nursery rounds and 6 hours of clinic Newborn assessments preferred Level 2 Nursery Very busy OB program averaging 600 deliveries per year Our physicians average 20-25 patients per day Excellent referral base The practice blends administrative support with clinical autonomy, allowing physicians to find an ideal balance within the practice of medicine Supported by a strong administrative team, with billing, coding, staffing and day-to-day operational assistance Ideal candidate will combine solid training with an excellent bedside manner and a commitment to providing patient-focused care Athena EMR Our compensation may include Competitive base salary plus worked relative value unit (wRVU) production bonus Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance Paid time off and retirement plan Comprehensive health and well-being benefits Student loan repayment assistance Early-commitment residency stipend Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance and days Paid professional liability and malpractice coverage Marketing and practice growth assistance About Our Hospital and Health System Harris Regional Medical Center is a 86- bed hospital located in Sylva NC, and is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier® with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities from coast to coast.
