ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Greensboro, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Stepdown Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM • Rotating weekends required • Patient ratio of 5:1 for all shifts • Float required as needed across all Cone Health facilities • Minimum 2 years of experience required • First time travelers accepted • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale • Neuro PCU experience required • Experience with CVA, External CPAP/BiPAP, TR band, Yale Swallowing screen required • Previous Charge RN experience preferred • Epic charting system experience required • Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed) • Care for medical neurological patients including stroke, seizure disorders, traumatic brain injury • Manage central lines, PICC lines, telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips without titration • Provide tracheostomy care and non-invasive airway management • 24 hours of orientation provided • Staff scheduled for 6-week periods via self-assisted scheduling through Optilink • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences • Must complete compliance by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date Facility: This healthcare organization operates a 30-bed Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care department with a primary focus on caring for medical neurological patients.
