Job Description Hiring Department The University of Missouri’s
School of Medicine Department of Radiology Job Description The
University of Missouri’s Department of Radiology is seeking a
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Breast Radiologist to join our
expanding team in the Breast Imaging Division. This is an exciting
opportunity for a dynamic physician to participate in a growing
clinical program within an academic health system that prioritizes
excellence in patient care, teaching, and research. Outstanding
candidates with demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and
administrative experience may be considered for the Division
Director of Breast Imaging role. Key Responsibilities - Provide
high-quality clinical breast imaging services, including digital
mammography (2D/3D), breast ultrasound, MRI, and image-guided
procedures (biopsies, localizations). - Collaborate closely with a
multidisciplinary team within the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center,
Missouri’s only NCI-designated partner institution. - Participate
in education of medical students, residents, and fellows. - Engage
in scholarly activities and quality improvement initiatives. -
Support growth and development of the Breast Imaging Division,
including clinical operations, program development, and faculty
mentorship. - If appointed as Division Director: - Provide vision
and leadership to the Breast Imaging Division. - Oversee clinical
service quality, staffing, and scheduling. - Collaborate with
departmental and institutional leadership to advance academic,
clinical, and strategic goals. Qualifications Minimum
Qualifications: • MD or DO degree • Board certification or
eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or equivalent) •
Completion of a Breast Imaging Fellowship • Eligibility for
Missouri medical licensure Candidates will be evaluated on:
Division Director Role: • Academic experience and evidence of
scholarly productivity • Demonstrated leadership, administrative
experience, or interest in division leadership • Commitment to
