(CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating
Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A certified Surgical
Technologist with OR experience is needed for a contract
opportunity in Matthews, NC, supporting a busy operating room with
13 ORs handling approximately 45 cases daily. This role requires
proven expertise in a variety of surgical specialties including
orthopedic, spine, general, robotic, GYN, urology, plastics, and
more. Key Qualifications: - Completion of an accredited Surgical
Technologist education program - Current BLS certification;
national certification preferred - Minimum 2 years of OR experience
in specialty areas (RN, CST, CVOR RN, CVOR CST) - Ability to scrub
complex cases across multiple disciplines: orthopedic,
cardiothoracic, vascular, robotic, general surgery, urology, GYN,
spine, breast, podiatry, plastics - Strong familiarity with EPIC
EMR and surgical technology equipment Location Overview:Located in
Matthews, NC, this facility offers a supportive work environment

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain sterile fields and
instruments for surgeries - Assist surgeons during operations
ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols - Support
turnover of OR rooms and maintain surgical supplies - Participate
in call and weekend rotations with a 30-minute response time,
including 3-4 weeknight calls per 6-week schedule and occasional
weekend shifts - Complete a one-week orientation tailored to the OR
setting Schedule: - 12-hour day shifts primarily from 7:00 AM to
7:00 PM - Call required with sleep rooms provided during night
shifts - Holiday work on a call rotation basis This contract
