Monitor Tech Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $797 to $992 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title City/State: Asheville, North Carolina Shift: 18:45-07:15, Nights Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: 02/02/2026 Job Description: The Central Monitoring unit is a cardiac monitoring unit responsible for monitoring approximately 336 patients from seven different hospitals, utilizing the GE Carescape system. This role involves remote cardiac monitoring and communication with floor staff, along with Virtual Sitter duties on the Cerner Patient Observer system. Responsibilities: Analyzes and interprets heart rhythms Build end-of-shift reports within the GE Carescape system Add and discharge patients from the GE Carescape system Communicate with floor staff by desktop phone and iPhone application Maintain a running call log Multi-tasking skills required Requirements: Previous travel experience working in remote monitoring Telemetry competent Must pass basic cardiac rhythm test Ability to analyze and interpret heart rhythms Good attendance record Proficient in typing and basic computer skills Basic knowledge of operating an iPhone Ability to monitor a high volume of patients and remain calm during stressful situations Requirements Required for Onboarding Core Mandatory Part III
