Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team, focused on providing top-tier rehabilitation services. As part of our integrated healthcare services, the Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of our licensed Physical Therapists to implement therapeutic plans and aid in the recovery process of our patients. The role requires a compassionate individual who is committed to assisting patients in achieving their maximum level of independence and wellness through meticulously executed therapeutic techniques and patient education. Assist physical therapists in the execution of patient care plans Perform therapeutic interventions as directed, including exercises and muscle reeducation Document patient responses to therapy and communicate outcomes to the supervising therapist Educate patients and family members on treatment plans and in-home exercises Maintain equipment and facility cleanliness Adhere to all facility policies and procedures and comply with health and safety standards Strong understanding of physical therapy modalities and techniques Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain patient confidentially Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Physical endurance and dexterity Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant CPR certified
