Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Cornelius, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,161 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 18 months of LDRP experience required. License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP Must-Have: Experience with all aspects of LDRP patient care. Circulating c-sections experience is required. Experience with newborn care, including heel sticks, 24-hour testing, NAS scoring, and lactation support. Postpartum care experience. Newborn resuscitation (NRP) certification is a must. Ability to work LDRP support within the department. Description: Facility has 33 beds and does not have trauma designation. It is not a teaching hospital or stroke-accredited. The unit includes 2 triage rooms, 4 labor delivery recovery rooms, 9 mother-baby rooms, and a C-section suite. Patient ratios will follow AWHONN guidelines. Anticipated delivery volume is approximately 900 deliveries per year once fully functional. Resource team will be staffed with necessary personnel, including charge nurses and case managers. Nurses will use EMR systems for documentation and monitor patients with advanced technology. Floating to other facilities may be required within the regional scope of practice due to staffing needs. Scheduling will include a standardized rotation, with every other weekend required. Travelers will work 75% of holidays. Up to 6 days off may be approved, excluding holidays. Uniform expectations include navy blue scrubs or business casual attire to and from work, with hospital-issued scrubs while working. Free parking is available.
