Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Western
North Carolina Start Date: January 12, 2026 Location: Asheville,
North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified
applicants Schedule: Every other weekend required; must be flexible
to meet department needs Highlights: 101-bed Emergency Department
in a Level II Trauma Center with over 100,000 visits annually
Patient ratios typically 4:1 for medical patients; flexibility to
work across all ED sections Cerner EMR system with Baxter pumps and
GE monitoring equipment Dedicated support team including techs,
unit clerks, and cardiac monitoring specialists Comprehensive
Stroke Center and regional referral hub for critical care Navy
scrubs uniform; no floating outside Emergency Department
Requirements: Active RN license in North Carolina Minimum 2 years
of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency
Department setting Prior experience in a Level II trauma center or
high-volume ED (100,000 visits) required ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC,
CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before start date ENPC
certification required within 90 days of hire Strong teamwork
mentality with ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback
