Med/Surg RN in Columbia, Missouri, 65201! Job Opportunity –
Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Missouri Start Date: March 2,
2026 Location: Missouri Compensation: Details provided to qualified
applicants Schedule: Night shift, 1:6–1:8 nurse-to-patient ratio;
must be willing to take up to 8 patients when census requires;
floating to sister orthopedic unit required Highlights: 32-bed
acute care medical-surgical unit with diverse surgical case mix
including robotic procedures, bariatric surgery, and wound
management Modern equipment including Alaris IV pumps, CADD PCA,
wound vac therapy, and ceiling lifts Collaborative care team with
multidisciplinary rounds, bedside shift report, and strong teamwork
culture Variety of surgical specialties with floating expectations
between medical-surgical and orthopedic units 13-week contract with
quick start available Requirements: Current RN license with
previous travel nursing experience required Most recent three
assignments must be acute care medical-surgical in medium to large
hospital settings No long-term care experience as sole background
Skilled in IV insertion, PICC/central line management, and vascular
device access and care Competent managing 6–8 patients
independently with total patient care responsibilities Willing and
able to float between medical-surgical and orthopedic units Why
