Department of Cardiovascular Medicine Dr. Arun Kumar, Division
Director of Cardiovascular Medicine, invites you to join his
growing team. The clinical expertise of the division’s 20 faculty
members offer the most comprehensive heart and vascular services in
mid-Missouri. In addition to clinical responsibilities, as an
academic institution, we also have active fellowships in
cardiovascular disease, electrophysiology and interventional
cardiology. We are currently recruiting for a heart failure
specialist to manage congestive heart failure and complex advanced
heart failure conditions. Cardiologists with expertise in heart
failure will be considered. Position Highlights: - Collegial
faculty of 20 physicians - Fully accredited Cardiovascular
Fellowships with 20 fellows - Robust consult service - 17 bed
Cardiac Intensive Care Unit - Significant time for
academic/educational pursuits - Non burdensome call
responsibilities - In-house Cardiology fellows assist with night

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Board-certified or
board-eligible candidates are considered experienced. Applicants
must have an MD/DO and be ABIM BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease or
equivalent certification. Candidates will be evaluated on: ABIM
BC/BE in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
