Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry
position requiring a KY or compact license and at least two years
of current MS/Tele RN experience. Responsibilities - Work in the
Med Surg/Telemetry unit of a hospital setting - Patient assignment
ratios are typically 1:5 or 1:6 - Uses Meditech EMR system - Day
shifts are from 07:00 to 19:30 - Schedule alternates weekly between
36 and 48 hours - No on-call requirements - No local candidates
accepted; must reside at least 100 miles from the facility -
Bi-weekly orientation available for new starts - Travel pairs are
not allowed unless in cases of multiple unit needs - Must provide
two professional references and a copy of driver’s license for
consideration Requirements - Active KY or Compact RN license
required - Minimum of 2 years of current RN experience in Med
Surg/Telemetry - Current certifications in Basic Life Support
(BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke
Scale (NIHSS), all AHA only - Familiarity with Meditech EMR
