Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Western North
Carolina Start Date: December 21, 2025 Location: Asheville, North
Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend required; flexible scheduling to meet
department needs; no floating outside the Emergency Department but
must be available to work in all ED sections Highlights: Level 2
Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center with high volume
exceeding 100,000 annual visits 101-bed Emergency Department with
4:1 patient ratios for medical cases; up to 7:1 for ED behavioral
holds Cerner documentation system with Baxter pumps and GE monitors
Comprehensive support staff including techs, unit clerks on all
shifts, and cardiac monitoring specialists Welcoming, team-oriented
environment serving a diverse, multi-cultural community with over
120 languages spoken Strong focus on patient experience using AIDET
methodology and real-time communication Requirements: Minimum 2
years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency
Department setting Experience in a Level 2 Trauma Center,
Comprehensive Stroke Center, or high-volume ED (100,000 visits
annually) strongly preferred ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS
certifications required before start date ENPC certification
required within 90 days of hire Demonstrated ability to work
collaboratively, provide real-time feedback, and adapt to all areas
of the Emergency Department Previous HCA experience preferred Why
