Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Western
North Carolina Start Date: 11/16/2025 Location: Asheville, North
Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
(sign-on and relocation bonus available) Schedule: Every other
weekend required; flexible scheduling to meet department needs; no
block scheduling commitments Highlights: Level II trauma center and
comprehensive stroke center with over 100,000 annual visits 101-bed
Emergency Department with 4:1 patient ratios for medical cases;
tech support available for cardiac monitoring, triage, and internal
processing Cerner documentation system; Baxter pumps and GE
monitoring equipment Float opportunities within multiple ED
sections to expand critical care experience Nationally recognized
facility: Top 1% of U.S. hospitals, Leapfrog "A" Safety Grade, and
Magnet Designation Regional referral center for trauma, stroke,
cardiac interventions, pediatric subspecialties, and robotic
surgery Requirements: Active North Carolina RN license or compact
state eligibility Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1
year in an Emergency Department setting Level II trauma center and
high-volume ED experience strongly preferred Required
certifications prior to start date: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and
NIHSS ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire Ability to
