active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This contract opportunity
seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide services in a K-12
school setting in Candler, NC. The position is itinerant,
supporting a diverse student caseload from preschool through 12th
grade. The contract runs from February through June 30th, 2026,
offering part-time hours of 12 to 15 per week across 2 to 3 days.
Qualifications and Experience: - Must hold a current North Carolina
Physical Therapist (PT) license - Experience working with students
in educational settings preferred - Ability to manage a caseload of
approximately 20 students - Skilled in delivering consultation,
direct therapy services, and conducting evaluations Location: -
Candler, North Carolina - K-12 school environment Position Details:
- Contract duration: Current school year ending on June 30, 2026 -
Hours: 12-15 hours/week - Days: 2 to 3 days per week - Caseload
includes students requiring consultation, direct therapy, and
evaluations Responsibilities: - Provide physical therapy services
to students aged preschool through 12th grade - Perform evaluations
and develop individualized treatment plans - Collaborate with
educators, therapists, and families to support student progress -
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school regulations
