Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,913 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28210! Job Title: RN - ED Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI required; TNCC preferred Must-Have: Charge RN experience Description: Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The department has 43 beds, including 8 Clinical Decision beds. The average patient census is 145 per day. Patient types include general ED population, trauma stabilization, respiratory illness, stroke, behavioral health, and acute myocardial infarction. The ages served range from pediatric to geriatric. The admission rate is 25-30%. RN to patient ratios are 1:3-4, based on acuity. Required skills include cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with critical care drips, PIV starts, TNK/TPA administration, and conscious sedation. Support within the department includes healthcare team members such as unit secretaries and patient safety attendants. There is a dedicated pharmacist available during peak hours. Technology used includes EMR systems and various medical equipment. Traveling may be required to other facilities within the region as needed, staying within the scope of practice.
