A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available to provide comprehensive support for students across K-12th grades within a district-wide setting. This contract role is based in an elementary school located in Newberry, SC, and spans the current school year (CSY). Responsibilities: Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs from kindergarten through 12th grade. Collaborate with educators, parents, and related professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapeutic strategies. Conduct assessments, monitor student progress, and maintain detailed documentation according to school and regulatory standards. Support the integration of therapeutic goals within the school environment to enhance student participation and learning. Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid for practicing in South Carolina. Experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings, ideally covering elementary through high school students. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with families and school staff.
