Western North Carolina Start Date: December 14, 2025 Location:
Asheville, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other
weekend required; scheduling determined by departmental needs
Highlights: 101-bed emergency department at a Level 2 Trauma Center
and Comprehensive Stroke Center High-volume facility with over
100,000 visits annually Typical patient ratios of 4:1 for medical
patients; up to 7:1 for behavioral health holds Supportive team
environment with unit techs, unit clerks, and dedicated cardiac
monitoring Cerner EMR system with Baxter pumps and GE monitoring
equipment Floating limited to ED sections only; no external unit
floating required Requirements: Active RN license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in
emergency department setting Required certifications prior to start
date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS ENPC certification
required within 90 days of hire Experience in Level 2 trauma
centers or comprehensive stroke centers strongly preferred Previous
HCA experience is a plus Strong teamwork mentality with the ability
