Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is
available within a K-12 school serving elementary and Pre-K
students in Shelby, NC. This contract position runs through May
20th, 2026, with an immediate start date. The role offers a
structured 37.5-hour workweek across five days, providing
consistent engagement with a dynamic student population.
Qualifications and Experience: - Hold a valid North Carolina
Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License - Possess credentials such
as CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or be actively
completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) - Experience in
school-based SLP settings preferred - Skilled in assessing and
treating speech and language disorders in children Key
Responsibilities: - Conduct evaluations and screenings for speech
and language impairments - Develop and implement individualized
treatment plans for elementary and Pre-K students - Collaborate
with educators, families, and other professionals to support
student progress - Maintain documentation and compliance with state
and federal regulations - Participate in team meetings and
contribute to fostering communication skills within the school
