Seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our sizable collegial group of pediatricians and pediatric specialty medicine physicians in northeastern Tennessee. Position Highlights: The position is at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor Faculty rank is commensurate with education and experience Official workday is 7.5 hours, which includes a one-hour lunch/meal break Beautiful, new Pediatric Clinic with a warm, child and family-friendly environment Established Pediatric Subspecialty Clinic representing many specialties The pediatric GI division has 3 physicians, a mid-level provider, a dietitian, and 3 nurses 20bed Pediatric Inpatient Unit staffed by 8 Pediatric Hospitalists At the time of hire, completion of a Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship is required This is a non-tenure, clinical track position Academic responsibilities include teaching medical students and pediatric residents, and academic pursuits Clinical responsibilities include providing clinical care and out-patient gastroenterology clinic Competitive salary and benefits package No State Income Tax Community: Surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains, this energetic and welcoming community blends outdoor adventure, vibrant culture, and modern amenities, all while offering easy access to larger hubs like Knoxville, Asheville, and even Charlotte for expanded career and entertainment options.
