Registered Nurse (RN) | Home Health Location: Shelby, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,966 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Home Health Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required; Home Health experience preferred License: RN License Certifications: BLS, Driver's License, Proof of Vehicle Insurance Must-Have: Homecare Homebase charting experience is required Description: Home Health Services serving the surrounding areas. The average caseload includes 6-7 weighted units per day, with a total of 30 units per week. Expect 2 admissions per day, weighted at 2.40 units each. Homecare experience is necessary, and first-time travelers with relevant Home Health experience will be accepted. Patient types include adults aged 18 and older, with common diagnoses such as wound care, wound vacs, Pleurx drains, catheters (foley and SP), feeding tubes, IVs (peripheral and PICCs/Ports), Diabetes Mellitus, Heart Failure, and medication and disease management. Required skills include proficiency in Homecare Homebase charting, Oasis, hospice philosophy, infection control practices, wound care, PICC line dressing changes, port access, IV infusions, catheter insertion, and the ability to drive at night. Support within the department includes leadership, LPNs/CNAs, and case management. The technology utilized includes HCHB EMR. Scheduling typically follows a Monday to Friday pattern from 8 AM to 5 PM, with weekends and holidays dependent on department needs and discussed during the interview process.
