Registered Nurse (RN) | Infusion Location: Shelby, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,966 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: RN - Infusion Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years, with at least 1 year in infusion License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS; Infusion RN Certification preferred, but not required Must-Have: - Experience with general infusion procedures, including blood/blood products, iron, fluids, and allergy shots - Ability to access ports and start IVs - Experience with Ambulatory EPIC preferred - Soft skills including confidence, attention to detail, quick learning ability, and excellent customer service skills Description: The RN - Infusion position involves providing care in an outpatient infusions setting. The facility has 15 chairs and an average patient census of 18-30 per day. The role focuses exclusively on adult patients. General infusion responsibilities include administering blood and blood products, iron, fluids, Remicade, Rituxan, Ocrevus, rabies vaccines, and allergy shots. Chemotherapy administration is not required. Patient ratios will be 1 nurse to 5 patients during the day. The team comprises 3-5 RNs daily, with very tenured staff members. Support within the department includes a charge nurse, HUC, CNA, and scheduler. Travelers may float to endoscopy and outpatient surgery, assisting with tasks, admissions, and vitals, but will not take a patient assignment. Some holiday work may be required as part of a rotation. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday, with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Scrub colors are navy blue.
