The Role: •Location: near Lowell / Charlotte, NC •Assignment duration: Locum Gastroenterologists needed to start ASAP and work ongoing •We are looking for another GI locum to cover 7-10 days at a time for hospital coverage. •The call varies. •There can be anywhere from 6-15 consults in a day, it truly varies. •Call Type: In-House. •Specialty Skills Required: Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), with injection of varices),With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy), Esophageal dilatation/manometry, Esophageal manometry interpretation, Small Bowel biopsy, Lower GI endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Flexible, Rigid, Colonoscopy (with biopsy, with excision of polyp), Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS).Specialty Skills Preferred: ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), Diagnostic, Therapeutic. ACLS, BLS •Fellowship: Required. •Licensed in NC only. •EMR: Epic. •Credentialing: 60-90 days.
