first-time traveler? Yes ? Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: o Stroke
R/O, PNA, cellulitis, FTT, AMS, CP R/O, Afib, COPD, ect. ? Patient
Ratios: o RN: 1:5-1:6 o LPN (if applicable): Takes primary nurse
assignment (same as RN ratio) o CNA: 1:8-1:12 ? Required Licensure
& Certifications: o RN: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS ? Skills required: o
Essential nursing functions, teamwork, communication o Experience
with traches, cardiac gtt experience, cardiac rhythm
interpretation, chest tubes, blood products, wound care/dressing
changes, management of central lines ? Support within the
Department: o CNA - ADLs, VS, FSBG, Telemetry/Masimo monitoring,
assist with ADT o Receptionist/HUC Most day shifts Call bell and
phone call triage, assist with ADT o Charge nurse - mostly without
patient assignment o Phlebotomy o IV/VAT Team o Resource Nurse, as

equipment: Several fall prevention tools in use, multiple patient
positioning tools in use ? Floating: o Within region and scope of
practice o Will be required to float per region needs will require
floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of
practice DECLINE if not agreeable ? Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings
Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main Mercy LCH) ? If floating
mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between
