Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Columbia,
Missouri. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive
Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Local Contract Local PRN Only!
Nucleus Healthcare is seeking an ICU - Registered Nurse (RN ) to
join a prestigious health system in Columbia, Missouri. Registered
Nurse Key Responsibilities: Conducting comprehensive patient
assessments and providing nursing care to medically complex
patients Providing care for patients and management of their
conditions, with regard to vital signs and lab work Collaborating
with Physicians and various disciplines within the hospital in
order to manage patient care Assisting the medical staff with
in-house procedures Interacting and communicating with patient
family members RN Requirements: Day and Night Shifts Available RN
License (MO) Minimum 1 year of hospital experience, ICU &/or
TCU (stepdown) experience preferred BLS and ACLS certification
Ability to assess patients quickly in emergency situations in
stressful environment Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Superior analytical and critical thinking skills, team,
detail and goal oriented Positive, professional and empathetic
demeanor Focus : Our facilities have an average of 30 – 35 beds,
which allows our healthcare teams to focus intensely on our
patients and their families. Multi-Disciplinary Interaction: We
take pride in our collaborative, multi-disciplinary team approach

our clinical staff plays an important and respected role with the
medical staff and administration. Patient Centered: Our Long-Term
Acute Care patients stay with us an average of 25 - 30 days, which
allows the clinical team to get to know the patient as a person

medically complex patients. After onboarding and competency
training, we have on ongoing Learning application (MedTrainer) to
