Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline:RN - Start Date:07/14/2025 - Duration:13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:12 hours, nights - Employment Type:Travel Job Title:Travel RN – Cardiovascular ICU (CICU) Location:Asheville, NC Contract Length:13 Weeks Shift:6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (3x12s, 36 hrs/week) Start Date:07/07/2025 Specialty:Critical Care – CICU Experience Required:Minimum 1 year in ICU Travel Pay Rate: $22/hr on W2 $1,400 non-taxable stipend = $2,192 Weekly Gross Job Description: We are seeking an experiencedCardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse (CICU RN)for a 13-week travel assignment on a high-acuity critical care unit. This is a night shift position with rotating weekends. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient, highly skilled ICU nurse with advanced knowledge of cardiac and critical care interventions. Unit Details: - Unit Type:CICU (Cardiac Intensive Care Unit) - Beds:16-bed unit - Staffing:RN-only model (no PCT or unit secretary support) - Patient Ratio:1:1 or 1:2 (occasionally 1:3 depending on acuity) - EMR:Cerner - Scrub Colors:All Navy or Navy/White (no hoodies or green scrubs unless provided for soiling) - Float Policy:Must be open to floating to other ICU/critical care units as needed Required Skills: - Titration of vesicant medications - Pressors, sedation, and paralytics - Ventilator and trach management - Telemetry interpretation - Hemodynamic monitoring - PA catheter setup and interpretation - Transvenous pacing - Familiarity with chest tube maintenance - Cardioversion & TEE Preferred Skills: - IABP - Impella - CRRT - CCRN certification (recommended, not required) Typical Procedures on Unit: - Cardioversion - Central line insertions - Bronchoscopy - EGD - Chest tube insertions - Pericardiocentesis - Thoracentesis Additional Information: - 12-hour night shifts (3x/week) - Weekend and holiday rotation required - Advanced equipment: Baxter IV Pumps, telemetry, IABP, CRRT, Impella, Hypothermia protocols - Candidates should be flexible, dependable, and confident in high-acuity cardiac settings Apply nowto work in a cutting-edge CICU unit and make a meaningful impact in critical care! *Auto Offer* About Binding Minds We are a Healthcare staffing business specializing in travel, contract and permanent roles with prime focus serving healthcare roles.
