The Human Resources Payroll Manager has responsibility for the
HR function at the facility location as it relates to all employees
including hiring and onboarding, retention, employee relations,
compensation, benefits and leave administration, training,
implementation and administration of all human resources programs
and employment policies and personnel record-keeping. This role is
knowledgeable in accordance with all applicable laws, policies and
practices. Responsibilties include assisting the site Executive
Director and Chief Human Resources Officer in decisions related to
employee policy and procedure.
This is a fast paced, hands on, generalist position, serving
approximately 330 team members with support from our Home Office
Payroll and Benefits Coordinators and the Chief HR Officer.
To perform the job successfully, the HR Manager should
be well organized and detail-oriented

ADP Workforce Now, SHRM or HRCI Certification, and Senior Living
experience are preferred.
Creates, maintains, and reviews personnel records and files for all
employees to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness, while
Works directly with other Department Managers to assist them in
carrying out their responsibilities with Human Resources
Processes the preliminary screening of applicants by obtaining
pertinent information and experience (verbal interview, application
form, criminal record check release form, pre-employment drug
screening, post-offer, pre-employment physical observations (if
applicable), and reference checks).
Explains and answers any questions about employee policies,
procedures, and benefits during orientation process and in-service
Prepares and maintains personnel reports as requested and/or
required by law (overtime, staff turnover, birthday and service
awards lists, applicant tracking, etc.).
Oversees special events for staff by coordinating committees and
managing employee relations budget.
Develops staffing strategies and implementation plans and programs
to identify talent within and ouside the organization. Identifies
appropriate and effective external sources for candidates.
Properly publicizes and answers inquiries pertaining to the
availability of employment opportunities.
Remains available to counsel with staff personnel interacting with
staff in all departments on all shifts.
Completes HR documentation including employment verification and
work permits for all minors, Nurse Registry Report and
verifications, Licensure verifications, survey and reports.
Responsible for creating, maintaining and processing new employee
orientation packets, identification badges, time cards, employment
applications/resume files, completion of tax forms (W-2s, etc.) and
insurance enrollments and cards.
Works with the Corporate Payroll Coordinator to complete payroll
for the team

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
