The position of Executive Vice President, Marketing and E-commerce is open within our corporate operations division located in Gastonia, NC. The ideal candidate is an energetic, positive-thinking and motivated individual with high quality standards and an appropriate skill set. This role reports directly to the company president and will be responsible for all activities related to the planning, organizing and execution of sales and marketing strategies in partnership with the company president. Specific areas of responsibility include overseeing the growing ecommerce opportunities from strategy to execution, revenue optimization, business development, and brand management.

This position is expected to work shifts from Monday through Friday with occasional overtime and weekend work required based upon business levels.

This position has in-office and remote working options available. Candidates are expected to be able to report to the office whenever required. Extensive travel is possible with this role.

This is a salaried-exempt position with compensation commensurate with experience.

Job Responsibilities
Working with the company president, executive projects related to sales and marketing internally and externally.
Develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external clients, vendors and key players contributing to the overall success of the company
Develop and execute upon strategic sales opportunities
Drive sales initiatives as they relate to - our growing e-commerce online start-up for sod sales
Work with Brand Director on social media campaigns, branding and DTC
Develop reporting structure to gauge key analytics for growth, excellence and CLIENT satisfaction.
Partner with Brand Director to coordinate mass communications internally and externally to maintain brand integrity across all platforms and develop/implement the communication models for supporting the Company's vision, mission, goals and strategies through all verbal and written communication
Oversee brand strategy projects as well as internal and external communications, including approvals for advertisements, to ensure integrity of content
Understand and practice ethical behavior to avoid any copyright infringement
Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns. Make recommendations for changes as needed, and implement upon those changes.
Develop an annual department budget, using all resources for past marketing needs and forecasting for future needs to properly allocate funds
Monitor trends and competitors' activities to identify opportunities and key issues to enhance the Company's marketing & branding presence
Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure marketing recruitment campaigns are in line with hiring needs and ensure suitable analytics are developed/maintained/communicated.

The Executive Vice President, Marketing and E-commerce will supervise the Brand Director with indirect reporting relationships with all marketing TEAM members.

The noted responsibilities are not an all-inclusive list as additional duties may be required as determined by the applicable department leader.

Physical Requirements
Perform physical activity such as lifting, stooping, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, crouching, and reaching in an office environment
Utilize key equipment found in a typical office environment (computer, copier, filing systems, etc.)
Subject to repetitive motions/ergonomics
B.S. degree in Sales, Marketing, or relevant field, or equivalent years of education with experience in a similar role
Strong e-commerce experience required
Excellent comprehension of the full marketing mix
Ability to work collaboratively in a TEAM environment
Ability to develop and maintain key relationships (customers, vendors, TEAMmates)
Strong social media and branding experience required
Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Proven ability to develop sales and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
Current knowledge of latest trends and marketing best practices.
