You improve revenue and ensure a successful sales cycle through the management of a team of sales specialists responsible for pre-sales functions, such as quoting and quality control of Carrier orders. As the Manager of Sales Support for Carrier clients, you focus on managing, coaching and developing a geographically dispersed team of Carrier Access and Cell Tower Backhaul Senior Sales Specialists. You excel at guiding your team to adapt to the constantly changing needs and strategies of the business.

You combine your understanding of company needs and your expertise in Carrier services to continuously pursue efficiencies and automation processes. You improve sales success by setting a strong support strategy and coordinating with boundary partners to establish and implement product and pricing strategies. You successfully place Spectrum Enterprise in a position of strength through regular communication with internal and external Carrier clients. You flourish in an office environment and travel as needed to achieve company objectives. You report directly to the Manager of Carrier Sales for goals, guidance and assistance.

Streamline and enhance the Sales and Carrier client experience by continuously providing coaching and professional development and improving on existing support strategies. Drive a successful Carrier sales support process by sourcing, interviewing, training and coaching a team while managing productivity reports, performance reviews and conducting meetings for feedback and planning.Improve revenue by mentoring the team to provide proactive support in the pre-sale environment to internal and external clients.Ensure accurate and quality quoting and ordering for Carrier Access and Cell Tower Backhaul clients through regular team reviews and work to pivot as needed to maximize output of quotes resulting in revenue.Achieve company objectives through the management of daily, weekly and monthly deliverables, including service level agreements (SLAs) in quotes and order activities. Support process and strategic planning that support sales activities by conducting regular process reviews.Improve efficiency and sales success through active participation in planning logistics and coordination with boundary partners, including Business Development, Business Intelligence, Construction, Design, Service Delivery, Product, Special Pricing and Finance.Actively engage with Sales Directors and Account Managers to understand client needs and targeted sales strategies.Maintain client data accuracy through the detailed management of a diverse library of specific requirements, including quoting specifications and order parameters.Enhance data integrity through historical tracking and the management of the quoting database, network to network interface (NNI) lists, building lists, business rules and rate cards. Conduct weekly team meetings to understand activity levels and challenges within sales support.Refine support processes by working with boundary partners. Resolve client issues by serving as an escalation point for internal team members and external clients. Assist in closing deals by contributing in face to face meetings with Carrier clients, reviewing their current status and strategizing for improvement and growth.Coordinate overall support efforts by working with Marketing, Order Management, Finance, Deal Support, Technical Support and other support teams.Maximize revenue growth by providing management support for teams that work cross-functionally on special pricing requests, following up on quotes, managing IRR financial models, ASR and order submissions, tracking of special pricing requests (SPARCs) and overall management of bulk deals nationwide.Required keys for success:
Two or more years of experience managing sales teams.Five or more years of outside business to business sales or client services experience.History of effectively sourcing, hiring, training, building and managing daily operations of a dedicated sales support team focused on supporting both Carrier Access and Carrier Cell Tower Back Haul channels of the Wholesale vertical.Solid leadership skills and strategically minded with the ability to align and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Proven organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to align with the company's cultures and values.Track record of managing large clients with responsibility for business relationships.Proficient with Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization.How you will stand out from the crowd:
Experience in telecommunications or internet technology.Your education:
Bachelor's degree in business, communications or a related field (required).
