Senior Electrical Engineer Position Overview We are seeking a
highly skilled Senior Power EE (Board-level) to lead the design and
development of innovative electrical systems and components. The
ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical
engineering with a focus on power electronics, and will be
responsible for driving new product development from concept
through production. We have 2 offices in both the Dallas area &
30-45 minutes east of Dallas with a flex hybrid schedule (1 day WFH
w/ other 4 days in our other 2 offices). Key Responsibilities Lead
the design and development of power electronic systems and
components. Conduct system-level design and integration of
electrical hardware. Oversee the schematic design and PCB layout
processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure
product requirements are met. Conduct testing and validation of
electrical systems to ensure performance and reliability. Mentor
junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices
and design methodologies. Work directly with PCB design tools -
Altium Designer Utilize simulation tools such as Matlab Simulink
and PSpice for design validation. Develop and maintain
documentation for design processes and specifications.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or
related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of
experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power
electronics. Proficient in electrical engineering principles and
practices, including circuit design and system integration.
Hands-on Altium design experience SiC/GaN power design knowledge
Experience with Modbus RTU/TCP, CANBus communication protocols
Experience with new product development and inverter design is
highly desirable. Familiarity with semiconductor technologies and
their applications in power electronics. Strong skills in schematic
design and PCB layout. Knowledge of analog, digital, and
mixed-signal design. Knowledge of power converters, and high-power
applications. Proficiency with lab tools and equipment for testing
and validation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
