Position Summary: ---- The Global Reliability Engineer will work across multiple countries, cultures and languages to help establish maintenance and reliability standards and best practices. --The successful candidate will work in a diverse and dynamic team-based environment in a rapidly growing industry. --This position will help--determine the right approach for asset management strategy for the different facilities across the globe which range in size, product lines, operating schedules and overall different overall business strategies. They will provide guidance and expertise on maintaining reliable operations while collecting, analyzing and managing asset utilization data for the resources in the region and driving improvements where possible. --Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish global reliability work processes and best practices for manufacturing sites.--
  • Key figure in promoting a collaborative environment and work in cross functional teams to deliver highly reliable operating assets across different product line networks.
  • Plans, conducts, and directs engineering, reliability or maintenance projects which are high impact or complex in nature, requiring application of advanced engineering knowledge or experience
  • Leads and/or acts as SME for difficult root cause failure analysis and the implementation of sustainable corrective / preventative actions.
  • Regional owner of Asset Utilization and associated reliability key performance indicators
  • Work with Maintenance & reliability departments in North and South America, Europe and the Asia Pacific regions to improve PM / PdM and Asset Integrity programs -- --
  • Work closely with Contract Manufacturer teams to improve their maintenance and reliability effectiveness.
  • Lead, Root Cause Analyses of process safety incidents, equipment failures and operational interruptions / incidents
  • Drive improvements in equipment uptime
  • Provide equipment troubleshooting expertise to regional sites
  • Participates in equipment specification reviews for new or existing facilities and ensure alignment between sites and proven technologies / practices for long term health and operability
  • Follows company safety and health guidelines and other company policies.--Education, Knowledge and Skills--
    • 10+ years of experience in engineering, operations, and/or maintenance with applied experience in Reliability.--
    • Knowledgeable in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and/or Operational Asset Utilization (OAU). --Advanced use of Root Cause Analysis methodologies such as Apollo (Cause and Effect Diagrams).
    • Familiar with industry standards (both regional and global) and recommended practices (API, ANSI, NFPA, ASME, GB, IATF etc.). --
    • Computer proficient, skillful in the use of engineering software along with the MS Office products. --
    • Ability to plan, delegate, and organize tasks to consistently produce results, with minimal supervision self-motivated. --
    • Organizational and interpersonal skills.--
    • Ability to influence outside resources that do not report to the position
    • Able to work independently or in teams. --
      • Experience with managing contractor and contract management
      • Effective in a team and communicate across cultures is required
      • Apollo Root Cause Analysis methodology (or similar methodology)
