Job Description:

The leading manufacturer of Electric Vehicles transporting material through industrial, commercial, institutional facilities is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their team.

Position is Temp to Hire
Location - Gastonia, NC
Hours - 7:30am to 4:30 pm (an hour for lunch)
Pay - $18 - $21 per hour depending on experience & qualifications

Must be highly skilled in reading schematics, high voltage & low voltage and equipment repair/maintenance, with strong problem-solving skills. Possessing a high degree of professional integrity.

Skills/Qualifications:
? Able to read and interpret manuals, blueprints/drawings, specifications and written instruction
? 3 years Mechanical assembly experience required
? Equipment repair/maintenance experience
? 2 years Mechanical plumbing experience required
? Manufacturing & Fabrication experience
? Strong attention to detail

Job Description/Duties:

? Build &/or assemble custom electric vehicle & industrial machinery per blueprints &/or work instructions using mechanical
hand tools
? Collaborate with project managers and welding supervisors to ensure smooth work operations
? Position and assemble components, custom designed machinery &/or subcomponents by examining components for
correct fit & function, fastening parts and/or subassemblies using templates, measuring devices and mechanical tools per
instructions &/or specifications
? Verify & inspect completed component &/or product to ensure it meets drawing/written specifications
? Resolve assembly problems by addressing issues to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional
resources if necessary
? Keep equipment and machinery operational by completing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting and repairing
malfunctions as needed
? Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
? Document maintenance and repairs by completing production and/or quality forms
? Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other duties as needed &/or directed
