  • About the Position:
    • Tuesday - Saturday 3:00pm - 11:00pm Shift
    • Perform basic inspection (check fluids, lights, brakes, etc.)
    • Perform preventive maintenance on cars, trucks, trailers, and other equipment.
    • Responsible for diagnosis and repair of tractors including but not limited to brakes, suspension, transmissions
    • Responsible for body repair including welding
    • Fuel company equipment
    • Keep garage and all working areas clean
    • Record and enter maintenance and parts information into the computer
    • Work in a safe manner adhering to all MDI, state, and federal safety guidelines
    • Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, and lift to 100 lbs
    • Operate trailer yard spotter as needed
    • Will be required to be on call, as needed
    • Change truck and trailer tires, as needed
    • May be required to do other jobs or tasks, as needed Requirements:
      • 5-10 Years Hands-On Diagnosis and Repair
      • Air Conditioning Certified
      • ASE Certifications in the Following: Suspension/Steering, Air Brake, Diesel/Gasoline, Transmission/Differential
      • Experience in Transmission/Differential Repair
      • Experience with Mack/Detroit Engines
      • Intermediate Computer Skills with Diagnostic Programs Preferred
      • Intermediate Welding Skills
      • Working Towards ASE Master Certification
