Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A middle school in Gastonia, North Carolina, is seeking
two Special Education Teachers with skills in resource support and
inclusion strategies. This contract position requires in-person
teaching and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on
students with diverse learning needs throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement individualized
education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with special needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure inclusive
classroom environments. - Provide resource support, adapting
materials and instructional methods for diverse learners. - Monitor
student progress and communicate regularly with parents and staff.
- Support social, emotional, and behavioral development of students
within the school setting. Qualifications: - Valid Special
Education teaching certification appropriate to the state. -
Experience working with middle school-aged students. - Strong
knowledge of resource and inclusion teaching strategies. - Ability
to work effectively within a collaborative team environment. -
Excellent communication and organizational skills. Location:
