Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This position offers an opportunity to work as a
Special Education Teacher in an elementary school setting,
supporting students with diverse behavioral, academic, and
social-emotional needs. The role is situated in Lexington, NC,
supporting the BASE Program classroom, which serves seven students
from kindergarten through fifth grade. Key Responsibilities: -
Manage a caseload of seven students with individualized education
plans. - Provide instruction and support tailored to students with
behavioral, academic, and social-emotional challenges. -
Collaborate closely with two instructional assistants to deliver
effective classroom support. - Adapt teaching methods for students
on modified schedules and those receiving homebound instruction. -
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance
with special education standards. - Communicate with families and
staff to ensure student needs are met. Qualifications: - Experience
as a Special Education classroom case manager. - Strong
understanding of special education laws and individualized
education programs (IEPs). - Ability to implement behavior
management strategies and foster social-emotional growth. -
Effective communication skills for collaboration with students,
families, and colleagues. - Commitment to creating an inclusive,
supportive learning environment. Location and Schedule: -
Lexington, NC in an elementary school. - Full-time position, 37.5
hours per week. - Onsite work. - Contract duration from ASAP
through May 29, 2026. This role is ideal for educators dedicated to
