You'll bring smiles and create long lasting memories for our guest by posing for photos and creating memories of storytelling in Camp Snoopy. Responsibilities: - Creates FUN Meet & Greet experiences in park for guests by portraying beloved Peanuts friends - Interacts with all guests and associates cordially and with respect, courtesy, and fairness. - Performs character walks in costume entertaining guests using nonverbal interaction as trained. - Maintain costume, including cleaning, brushing, etc. - Acts as a character attendant/usher when needed greeting guests and ensuring performer safety on set. Qualifications: - You! - Ability to interact with children of all ages. - Must be physically able to handle the demands of a full body costume. This includes high heat, limited visibility, and limited mobility. - Previous experience in children’s theater, character costume performance, or related experience is a plus. - People who love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and associates. - Good judgement and a commitment to safety. - Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds. - Individuals with a passion and excitement about Carowinds. - Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
