This role reports directly to the Company President and will be responsible for all activities related to the planning, organizing and executing of sales and marketing strategies in partnership with the Company president. organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Specific areas of responsibility include revenue optimization, business development, and strategy implementation. This position is expected to work shifts from Monday through Friday with occasional overtime and weekend work required based upon business levels.This position has in-office and remote working options available. Candidates are expected to be able to report to the office whenever required. Extensive travel is possible with this role.This is a salaried-exempt position with compensation commensurate with experience.Job ResponsibilitiesWorking with the Company President, complete executive projects related to sales and marketing internally and externally.Develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external clients, vendors and key players contributing to the overall success of the companyDevelop and execute upon strategic sales opportunitiesDrive sales initiatives as they relate to NextDaySod.com - our growing e-commerce online start-up for sod salesWork with Brand Director on social media campaigns, branding and DTCBuild business through word of mouth advertising and personal interactions/networkingConduct meetings with landscapers to gain knowledge of what customers are seeking and drive ODL and sod sales with intense focus and dedicationPartner with Brand Director to coordinate mass communications internally and externally to maintain brand integrity across all platforms and develop/implement the communication models for supporting the Company's vision, mission, goals and strategies through all verbal and written communicationOversee brand strategy projects as well as internal and external communications, including approvals for advertisements, to ensure integrity of contentUnderstand and practice ethical behavior to avoid any copyright infringementMeasure and report performance of all marketing campaigns. Make recommendations for changes as neededDevelop an annual department budget, using all resources for past marketing needs and forecasting for future needs to properly allocate fundsMonitor trends and competitors' activities to identify opportunities and key issues to enhance the Company's marketing & branding presenceCollaborate with Human Resources to ensure marketing recruitment campaigns are in line with hiring needs and ensure suitable analytics are developed/maintained/communicated.
